Rosie is a multidisciplinary visual artist who predominantly works in the medium of clay, she intuitively hand builds energetic sculptural pieces which try to reflect the diversity and exuberance of life. Her work is vivid, using contrasting textures and colours to enhance its sensory impact. Influenced by freedom of expression in all its guises, Rosie’s work has ‘a life to it’.
Based in Cork, she has graduated from CCAM GMIT, with BA(Hons) in Fine Art Ceramics and a special purpose award in Group Arts Facilitation. She has worked teaching ceramics and other tactile crafts within Arts and Health contexts.
Rosie was born and raised in London, and Cork City. She is of Irish/Italian heritage. Some of the exhibitions she has been part of include, Mason Hayes and Curran’s Art @ Christmas, PrintWorks at Dublin Castle, and Clay Galway at the Tribeton. Her work is held in private collections throughout Ireland.
