September Professional Development: Louise Tangney, Cork City Council – Creative Ireland Cork, An Introduction for Sample-Studios Members

Louise Tangney is one of 31 Creative Communities Engagement Officers appointed across the local authorities in Ireland last year to deliver the Creative Ireland Programme 2023-2027.  Louise works with Creative Ireland and Cork City Council’s Culture and Creativity Team to enhance access to, engagement with and enjoyment of culture and creativity for communities across Cork City, through delivery of an annual programme of creative community projects and events across the Cork City administrative area.

In this online talk Louise will introduce the strategic areas of focus for Creative Ireland and Cork City Council and highlight funding opportunities for artists. This is an opportunity for practitioners interested in working in community-engaged projects to learn how to position themselves for upcoming opportunities with Creative Ireland.
