Céad Míle Fáilte by Libertad Rice – Exhibition Opening

Blanca Rice Cabrera, practising under ‘Libertad’ or Liberty, will one her exhibition ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ in Fermoy Library on 5 October from 2-3:30pm. The exhibition will be on display in the library through the month of October.

An Argentinian-born and Cork-based artist, Blanca’s visual production is inspired by social causes and human rights movements with a gender perspective. Working primarily in murals, Blanca combines biodiversity and the ancestral culture, showing the influence of Latin American arts and incorporating Irish cultural heritage.

Blanca is currently a participant in the Studios of Santuary Programme with Sample-Studios.

This event and the Studios of Sanctuary programme are supported by Rethink Ireland Impact for Munster Fund.
