Join us in Cork Public Museum from 1-2pm on Thursday 19 February for a lunchtime ‘In Conversation’ with visual artist Petrina Shortt and Curator Eamonn Maxwell. Petrina will discuss the work on display in her solo exhibition Dreams of Hyperborea in Sample-Studios Gallery, The Lord Mayor’s Pavilion – the result of an extended period engaging with scientific research and first-hand encounters with the coastal environment in Shortt’s native West Cork. With The Lord Mayor’s Pavilion just a few steps away, all are welcome to join us for tea/coffee in the gallery afterwards.
