July Professional Development: Working with a Creative Producer

July Professional Development: Working with a Creative Producer

July 24 - July 24, 2026
12:30-2pm
Online

‘Working with a Creative Producer’ is an online workshop that will detail the ways artists can work with a creative producer. A creative producer in an emerging role within the visual arts whose function sits somewhere between a curator and a project manager. They can work with artists in many ways but often support the production of new work through fundraising, logistics, admin and managing relationships while involved in the creative elements of an artist’s practice.

Creative producers often work independently from institutions and can work with artists across projects, working strategically over a sustained period of time. In this session, Ní Fheorais–who has worked as a creative producer as part of her work as an independent curator over the past five–will provide insight into how artists can build relationships with creative producers and the role they can play in your practice.
