PACE Programme
Sustaining the Practice of Artists through Practice, Awareness, Creativity and Exchange
We’re inviting a group of artists to join us for a one-day creative and experiential workshop: a chance to step away from the pressures of artistic practice, connect with fellow artists and explore new ways of supporting yourself and your creative journey.
How do we sustain ourselves and our creative practice over time? Sample-Studios is working with member Lucy Hyland to expand upon her successful model as developed with artists in the South East. Together, we are creating a new professional development programme for Samplers exploring how creativity can support personal resilience, connection and the sustainability of our artistic practice. This November, we are inviting a small group of artists to help shape it.
Join us on 4 November for a one-day experiential and co-design workshop exploring what supports us as artists, and what gets in the way. Through creative exercises, reflective practice, dialogue, somatic and meditation approaches, we will explore ways of reconnecting with our creativity, strengthening resilience and learning from one another.
The day will also give you a taste of the model and approaches that will be used to form part of the 6-month PACE Programme in 2027 and an opportunity to inform the programme’s content. This 6-month programme will be available fully funded to 10 participants and will involve a commitment of one day per month of reflective workshops.
This workshop creates an opportunity to have your voice heard, influence the development of a new programme and help create a shared space where artists can sustain their creativity and practice with peers in a collegiate environment.
The workshop will take place from 11- 4pm, Thursday 4 November. Complimentary lunch served.
To book, email director@sample-studios.com by October 15th.
