A Kick Up The Arts! Motivation & Resilience Workshop For Artists
Doing what you love for a job isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be, is it?
Being a professional artist certainly has its perks, but it can also be stressful and frustrating at times.
How do you know your career is heading in the right direction?
What do you do when your funding application gets rejected…again!?
Where can you find that bit of motivation when it’s just not there?
In this online workshop, we will explore some of the common practical and personal barriers to success for professional artists.
From the myth of time management, to the surprising truth about motivation, this might just be the “kick up the arts” you need!
Workshop topics will include…
  • Defining success and working towards it
  • Thinking strategically about your career path as an artist
  • Understanding and overcoming procrastination
  • Dealing with failure and rejection
  • Productivity hacks for visual artists
  • Motivation, self-discipline and self-management
  • The Artist vs The Entrepreneur – the internal struggle
