Child Protection Training with Catherine McIntyre

This online workshop will support our members to become confident in their knowledge of best practice in child protection, when working with under 18s.

This workshop is intended to be complimentary to the certified Tulsa Children First E-Learning Programme, and reinforce the learning from this programme by giving members the opportunity to explore and discuss real world contexts.

 

Catherine McIntyre is Co-Founder of Órma Support Agency, an organisation which utilises collaborative working methods to fulfil community development principles of empowerment, equality and participation. Órma offers governance support, training, mentoring, strategic planning and conflict resolution services to organisations that work in the community / voluntary / disability sector.

In her work, Catherine passionately supports and collaborates with organisations which serve children, families, and communities. With a business background in retail management gave me practical foundations in running an organisation, she returned to full-time adult education in pursuit of a BA in Community Development (NUI Maynooth, 2008) and MA in Family Support (NUI Galway, 2015).
