Curator Visits, Summer Series: Ann Davoren

Ann Davoren is Director of Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbereen, Co. Cork where since 2001, she has worked with many emerging and established Irish and international artists, curators and arts organisations to develop commissions, projects, publications, exhibitions, residencies, and symposia. Through her focus on the visual arts, arts education and socially engaged arts practice, she has supported the development of the BA Visual Art Degree and the new MA Art and Environment programmes for West Cork.

Ann will facilitate two dates and locations for Sample-Studios members:

  • 19 Aug: Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbereen.
  • 20 Aug: Sample-Studios, Churchfield, Cork City.
Curator Visits

Our Curator Visits series offers Sample-Studios members a unique opportunity to connect directly with local and international curators. Members meet with curators 1to1 to present their work, discuss their practice, and receive expert advice and guidance from prominent professionals bringing a wealth of experience, a variety of backgrounds in different arts contexts, and valuable networks.
