This workshop is led by Ashleigh Ellis, Sample-Studios’ first eco artist in residence, and will take place in Sample-Studios’ Project Room on 30 August from 3-6pm. It will share the skills and know-how involved in making artist-quality inks and paints with plant and mineral pigments. It will also include recommended sources to buy premade plant and mineral based paints and materials, including plant based acrylic paint. The group will discuss best practices regarding environmental concerns in the studio and encourage sharing in the group.
