Sample-Studios members are invited on a free day trip to Limerick on Saturday, June 24th for a tour of Diana Copperwhite’s solo exhibition in Limerick City Gallery of Art, followed by ‘Welcome to the Neighbourhood’ Open Day of Askeaton Contemporary Arts.

Members are invited to enjoy a free guided tour of Diana Copperwhite’s solo exhibition in LCGA before we journey on to Askeaton where we will join curator Michele Horrigan and artist Sean Lynch for a special guided open day of Askeaton Contemporary Arts, Limerick. Askeaton Contemporary Arts commission, produce and exhibit contemporary art Askeaton- this artist residency programme situates Irish and international artists in the midst of Askeaton each summer, while thematic exhibitions, publications and events often occur. Through these methods, over one hundred artists projects have been realised. Any of our members who have joined Michele and Sean’s recent online workshops with Sample-Studios will know that this will be a really valuable opportunity to learn from them and find out more about their approach in Askeaton.

Bus will leave Cork at 9.30am and return at 7.30pm approx. The bus and facilitator fees are covered by Sample-Studios but members will need to bring a packed lunch or buy lunch in Limerick.
