October Professional Development Workshop: Final Cut Pro Skills

October 15 - October 16, 2022
10am-6pm

A hands-on workshop in editing on Final Cut Pro (previously Final Cut Pro X), one of the most powerful and widely used professional non-linear video editing packages available. This weekend course will explore the extensive visual possibilities of FCP from ingesting footage through editing and colour correction to sharing finished pieces. It will use frequent practical exercises to facilitate navigating the software. No previous editing experience is necessary.

About the Facilitator:

Final Cut Pro Skills is taught by Maximilian Le Cain, a filmmaker and tutor associated with Cork Film Centre who has over fifteen years experience working with FCP. Maximilian is also involved in the development and delivery of First Cut! Youth Film Festival and Cork Young Filmmakers. He is a member of the Experimental Film Society.
