Join Ukranian artist Viktoria Kondratieva on 20 November from 11am-1pm in the Cork Volunteer Centre for a talk and workshop on Petrkivka painting. Viktoria will begin by offering a brief history of this beautiful form of Ukrainian folk art, followed by a participatory workshop in which attendees will learn the techniques associated with Petrykivka.

Viktoria is a participant in our Studios of Sanctuary artist training and mentorship programme which offers access to professional and educational supports for artists from a migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking background, providing them with a platform to develop their creative careers and bring their practice to their communities in a meaningful and impactful way.

This event and the Studios of Sanctuary programme are supported by Rethink Ireland Impact for Munster Fund.
