We’re excited to offer Samplers a new pilot RAW Programme facilitated by Eco Artist, Sampler and Sample 15 Artist Bursary Recipient, Ashleigh Ellis. RAW (Reduce Artist Waste) is a series of training workshops designed to empower artists to use natural materials and reduce waste in their practice. This pilot will take place across two sessions, each taking place from 11am-4pm and Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions as the learning will be incremental and complimentary but you can attend one.
- 25 August: Growing your Practice: Creating art materials, inks and dyes, from plants in a sustainable way.
- 10 September: Eco Art Studio: Sharing best practices and approach, reducing reliance on single-use and environmentally harmful materials and exploring alternatives. Learn zero-waste and low-impact creative processes for long-term practice impact.
