STAMP Festival Workshop: ‘Let your Imagination Set Sail’ Driftwood Boat Workshop for Families

This fun and inventive mixed-media model boat workshop is inspired by tall ships and summer sailboats. Each participant will make their own unique vessel with a driftwood hull. Fashioned by time spent at sea, the driftwood gives character and movement to each vessel. Suitable for children from 5-12 years who must be accompanied by an adult. Please ensure the accompanying adult also has a ticket. Adults are encouraged to join in as this is a family workshop. 

About the Artist Facilitator

Leah Murphy is a member of Sample-Studios and Cork-based visual artist. She graduated from Crawford College of Art and Design with BA in Fine Art Painting and has continued to work within the arts both with a studio based practice and collaborative community based projects. Leah has  exhibited her work regularly with group and solo exhibitions in Ireland and Italy. She is co-designer and facilitator of a multidisciplinary art in schools project ‘Tools of the Trade’.
