This Group Crit offers an opportunity for Sample-Studios members to hear from the first residents and exhibiting artists of the TRISKEL SAMPLE Project Space in 2024. Presenters will offer valuable insights into their experience working in the space, exhibiting their work, and the developmental opportunity that the residency offered as well as the impact it had on the direction of their practice. With a new programme of residencies, exhibitions, and festivals lined up for 2025, this is an ideal opportunity members to engage with and learn from the excellent works carried out by our residents in TRISKEL SAMPLE Project Space’s pilot year.

The TRISKEL SAMPLE Project Space was established in 2024 in partnership with Sample-Studios and Triskel Arts Centre. The purpose is to provide a space for artists, especially in their emerging and mid-career, to test ideas and to develop new work that can be seen by the public. Located in the heart of Cork City, adjacent to the historic Triskel Christchurch, the space provides an impactful and tangible career development and audience engagement opportunities for residents, as well as a safe space in which to take risks.
