Watercolour Workshops with Tetiana Milshyna

These FREE workshops will run from 9:30-11:30am on Fridays 8th, 15th, and 22nd of August in Sample-Studios Gallery, The Lord Mayor’s Pavilion, Fitzgerald’s Park. Spaces are limited – email Matthew Whyte at development@sample-studios.com to book.
These workshops will introduce participants to the watercolour medium. Professional watercolorist Tetiana Milshyna will give an overview of the materials, techniques, and methods involved in watercolours, offering a demonstration. Participants are then invited to create a small watercolour with my Tetiana’s guidance.
These workshops will explore different types of landscape with different light. Participants will learn some helpful tips about tonal value, mixing colours, aerial/atmospheric perspective, and limited palette. All the workshops are suitable for all levels of skills.
This workshop series is part of the Studios of Sanctuary Programme, generously supported by Rethink Ireland Resilient Cork Fund and Community Foundation Ireland.
