My work is an exploration of decay, death and aloneness in the natural world. I am drawn to the predictable unpredictability of lith printing which allows me to play with texture and atmosphere to create prints that range from harsh and bleak to soft and warm. Whether I am photographing a landscape or a found object my goal is to find balance between a specific moment in time and timelessness. Using the lith process I try to remove the representational parrt of photography and instead focus on emotion.
