I moved from Co. Cavan to Cork City in 1982 to study Fine Art / Painting at the Crawford College of Art. From there, it’s been a journey of Youth and Community Arts with organizations such as Ogra Chorcai, Foroige. Mayfield Youth Cafe and from 2000 to present, I have been the Art Tutor at Mayfield Community Training Centre where I have delivered QQI modules (FETAC) in art. I have also worked on arts based collaborations with organizations such as Mayfield Arts and Huskie Ireland.
I’m a committed art journaller, working in mixed media and collage. A recent return to study Textiles at Crawford College of Art has allowed for a new direction of exploration and possibility.
