Rooted in psychogeography and my embodied experiences of walking through urban landscapes, my practice examines the contradictions and fragilities inherent in the urban spectacle. This approach informs a multidisciplinary practice that encompasses expanded drawing, installation, photography, and performance. My process is influenced by the self-determination and resourcefulness of historical artistic movements such as Arte Povera, The Situationist International, and the D.I.Y. ethos of Punk music.
Using playful colour schemes and uncanny pairings of materials, my research bridges theory and practice. I aim to create subtle contradictions that challenge conventional notions of space, form, and beauty. By juxtaposing architectural elegance with overlooked or undesirable territories and themes, my work questions societal hierarchies and invites viewers to reconsider their relationship with the built environment, offering a space for critical reflection and discovery.
