Living in a beautiful fishing village on Irish east coast, I originate from Ljubljana, Slovenia.
From an early age I participated in a number of art courses with some of the renowned painters.Throughout life I curiously explored different art techniques from clay sculpting, plaster sculpting, wood working and carving. My main passion though was always drawing. I find it absolutely cathartic. Mostly I use mechanical pencil or ink pen which enables me to go into fine details and finish them with great precision. The drawings are full of symbolism, sometimes witty but always of surrealistic nature. The process of drawing enables me to escape into an imaginary world where I can do whatever, let my subconsciousness take over and never plan the next move. Lately I’m also creating larger plaster sculptures which enables me the freedom of reaching into space I have always craved for. It almost seems like my drawing are coming to life.
