Rochelle is an artist based in Killorglin, County Kerry . She graduated in 2012 with BA Honours in Fine Art Painting from Limerick School of Art and Design. She has been a part of numerous group shows over the years, including exhibitions at K-FEST. Her first solo show was held in the Limerick Printmakers Gallery in 2013 entitled “No Diesel” which was a series of oil paintings on canvas contemplating the ideas around the Irish recession and the detrimental effects it had on the country. Her second solo show was titled ‘The Establishment’, which took place in The Chapel on the Hill, Killorglin. Since then she has been actively involved with K-FEST Arts Festival as Art Director. She is currently Artist in Residence at a number of Schools in Kerry. In 2021 Rochelle received Agility Award funding from the Arts Council and has since starting a new line of creative work. This is in the beginning phases. Rochelle was the recipient of the inaugural Tom Fox Exhibition Award 2012, a bursary kindly provided by the Fox family to commemorate the Limerick-based painter Tom Fox’s untimely passing in September 2010. A prolific artist, he exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally.
