If you could create your own cocoon, what would it look like and what things would you bring inside? Join Portuguese visual artist Catarina Araújo  for this imaginative workshop that allows you to build and create your own personal cocoon model. A relaxing experience which invites you to reflect on the importance of personal time and space.

Suitable for adults. Places are free but limited. Please note the 11am workshop is now fully booked and only a handful of places remain for the 2pm workshop!

Seiko Hayase and Catarina Araujo (Socially Engaged Artist Residents) in The Glucksman: Radical Institute at Studios of Sanctuary artists in residence, Seiko Hayase and Catarina Araújo, are in residence in The Glucksman on Saturday, 14th of May, 11am-4pm and invite you to experience their socially engaged artistic practices through making. The Radical Institute at Studios of Sanctuary Residency is a mentorship-led residency programme for socially engaged artists from an asylum seeker, refugee or migrant background, supported by Cork Arts Fund at the Community Foundation for Ireland.
